What inspired me to be a tattoo artist is leaving a mark — a personal mark of who they are and what can I be. It’s an art that has a lot of respect, it’s a lifestyle.
I don’t have a particular tattoo that is my favourite — it’s like asking a father which son he loves most. Each tattoo is a story and a lesson for me, helping me to be a better person and a great professional on my art.
The oriental tattoo tells a story. You can build a complete piece of an arm, leg, even full body, with a lot of history and colour — or just black and grey. I love botany because I can bring an animal or flower and show it from my perspective.
When I’m not tattooing, I like to learn something new — a language, style, colouring, seeing the work of other artists to find inspiration. Always learning, it’s a constant process that never ends.
