At CB Ink Tattoo we pride ourselves on sourcing the best tattoo artists in Australia, with colour realism tattoo artist Paul Baverstock being a high profile acquisition for our studio.
Paul has many years’ experience tattooing in Western Australia, we’re privileged to have him cross the country to join our Brisbane studio. One of Paul’s career highlights includes being asked to tattoo on TV, tattooing a portrait of Peter Helliar on the show ‘Hughesy, We Have A Problem’.
Paul’s colour realism tattoos will impress you with the level of detail. When some people view his photos online they’ve felt compelled to ask if they’ve been edited and enhanced – a compliment and a curse at the same time!
Paul has great diversity in colour realism, which can be seen in his gallery below. Perhaps one of his most unique strengths is the attention to detail in his Aboriginal tattoo designs which are second to none, a true testament to his attention to detail.
There has been strong interest in Paul whose booking list is growing fast. To avoid disappointment, place a booking today!
Getting to Know Colour Realism Tattoo Artist Paul
What inspired you to become a tattoo artist?
Growing up I idolised Paul Booth (US) and Paul Braniff (AU) reading the tattoo magazines, and studying tattoo styles from the age of 14. It was what I wanted to be, and I’m lucky enough to be living my dream.
What’s your favourite tattoo you’ve ever done?
That would have to be a portrait of Peter Helliar on my mate Chris. I did it in Channel 10 studios in Sydney on the program ‘Hughesy, We Have A Problem’.
Why do you love Realism?
It presents the greatest challenge. Achieving the correct tonal values on all shades of canvas keeps you forever adapting and learning.
What do you love doing when you’re not tattooing?
What can clients expect when they visit CB Ink Tattoo?
Professional consistency, warped humour and an all round good bloke.
